About:

Indian people are the second largest group of migrants in Australia, Adjustment to a new culture and unfamiliar country can be daunting. Sometimes some education and information about new customs, expectations and ways in doing things can make a great difference to one’s social and employment opportunities.

The aim of this group is to support Indian women with their wellbeing, promote connectedness, and reduce isolation. The support group provides the participants with guidance and advice about mental health, self-care and a safe space to share their concerns and challenges.

Facilitator: Ravinder Sandhu is passionate about helping people from the Indian Community overcome isolation and help with enhancing ther networks and connection.
