About: The number of Pakistani Australians has almost doubled in the last few years and assistance with their welfare and wellbeing issues are important. Adjustment to a new culture and unfamiliar country can be daunting. Sometimes some education and information about new customs, expectations and ways in doing things can make a great difference to one’s social and employment opportunities and integration.

The aim of this group is to support Pakistani women with their wellbeing, promote connectedness, and reduce isolation. The support group provides the participants with guidance and advice about mental health, self-care and a safe space to share their concerns and challenges.
