CALD LGBTIQA+ Support Group
The CALD LGBTIQA+ Support Group is for same sex attracted and gender diverse people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to discuss their mental health and wellbeing and develop a strong sense of belonging in the community.
Often, gender and/or sexually diverse identities can engender conflict with cultural norms, doctrinal positions and family expectations and relationships. This group creates a safe space for individuals to talk through, share stories and offer reflections on intersectional and complex issues surrounding relationships, cultural traditions, and identity.
