NATIONAL WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH

NATIONAL WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH

This year, the Mental Health Foundation Australia is organising the National Walk for Mental Health on 17 October 2021, 10:30am. This is a perfect opportunity to come together to raise awareness for a important cause.

For the last few Mental Health Month campaigns, the MHFA’s most successful event yet, has been our Mental Health Awareness Walks always held on the same day and at the same time in each state and territory across Australia. We believe such events have the potential to raise much needed awareness of mental health and to help break down the considerable stigma that surrounds it, in a positive and all-inclusive way.

This year, it is even more necessary to help Australians think about their mental health post COVID-19 and to help rebuild the lives of Australians that have been greatly affected during this pandemic. Last year, the pandemic did not stop us. We ran both virtual as well as physical walks across the country seeing , approximately 100,000 walkers Australia wide.

Join us as we collectively take steps towards better mental health, but also towards the #RoadtoRecovery.
