At the MHFA, we welcome volunteers from all walks of life, and we do not require any specific qualifications or experience. However, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about mental health, committed, reliable, and willing to learn.
We value our volunteers and want to provide them with the necessary training and support to carry out their roles effectively. We offer training and orientation sessions to all our volunteers to familiarize them with our organization and policies. We also provide ongoing support and supervision, regular feedback, and opportunities for skills development.
We understand that our volunteers have busy lives, and we appreciate any time that they can give. We have a range of volunteering opportunities available, from short-term to long-term commitments.
The time commitment required for each role varies depending on the role and project. We are flexible and can work with our volunteers to find a schedule that suits them.
We value our volunteers' contributions and believe that it is essential to recognize and appreciate their hard work.
We have a range of volunteer recognition programs in place, such as certificates, appreciation events, and awards. We also provide references and support our volunteers in achieving their personal and professional goals.
Thank you for considering volunteering with the MHFA.
